Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteer Caregivers in Albany

Building a rampVolunteer Caregivers is a volunteer-run program serving low-income seniors in the greater Albany area.  Volunteers provide a variety of services aimed at keeping seniors 55 and over safely in their own homes while maintaining their independence and dignity.  Volunteers are needed to transport seniors to and from their medical appointments.  Volunteers can drive a vehicle provided by Volunteer Caregivers, or they can drive their own vehicle.  Volunteers are also needed to do minor home modifications for seniors, such as installing a grab bar or building a wheelchair ramp.  If you are interested in volunteering for Volunteer Caregivers, please contact RSVP at (541) 812-0849 or rsvp@ocwcog.org.
